Liv Phoinix—
I write and I talk about sexuality and technology, intersections with society and the self. I’m the author of the forthcoming book That Feels Good: The Awkward Promise of Sexual Wellness. I edited the recently released Zen and The Art of Squirt by Ayoto Ataraxia.
I’m emerging from an intense period of research on the cultivation of sexual wellness as a tantric bodyworker.
With BODY IS CONSTRUCT I interviewed people on where they’re at with their body of thoughts, body of work, their corporeal bodies. I like to poke around notions of consent and agency for the times we are living through.
I’ve done consulting in Proptech - distributed ledger technology for real estate.
I worked as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin, researcher, and taught in the now retired Architecture Design Innovation Program at the TU Berlin between 2015-2017. Aborted a PhD at ETH Zürich. Prior to architectural academia I worked at the United Nations Programme For Human Settlements in Nairobi and in film production in Chennai.
